Candied Pecans

These candied pecans not only taste delicious but will make your home smell just as good! With just a few ingredients, this is the perfect snack for afternoons or weekends.

Ingredients: 

2/3 cup Sugar

1 tsp Cinnamon

¼ tsp Salt

1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

1 lb Pecan Halves

1 Egg White

Instructions: 

  • Preheat the oven to 250°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl mix together sugar, cinnamon and salt.
  • In a separate medium-sized bowl whisk together the egg white and vanilla until frothy.
  • Mix the pecans into the egg froth and then add the sugar mixture. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Evenly spread the coated pecans over the baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour until they’re an even brown, stir them every 15-20 minutes.
