Presenting your home in the best possible light during a home appraisal is vital for an accurate valuation. Proper preparation not only ensures a fair assessment but also increases the likelihood of getting the best possible value for your property. Be sure to

– Make repairs by fixing broken or damaged items like leaky faucets, holes in walls, broken or cracked tiles, etc.

– Make a list of all the upgrades and improvements done to your home.

– Provide documentation of the upgrades and improvements (roof, new appliances, energy-efficient windows, etc.)

– Enhance curb appeal by mowing lawns, pruning, removing trash and recyclables — anything to improve your home’s appearance.

These are just some of the things that could be easily accomplished, but if you need more suggestions or advice, I’m happy to offer my experience, insight and assistance. Reach out to me anytime!
